“FORGET ME NOT: THE EXPLORATION OF PRESERVATION” (2025)
“Forget Me Not: The Exploration of Preservation” investigates how concepts, objects and feelings are preserved through different vessels such as dreams, folklore, nature, literature, objects and our physical matter. Preservation in art is dialogue between past and present, allowing for the reflection and re-imagining of diverse zeitgeists from different time periods and cultures. By combining this with the reinterpretations of familiar concepts through fashion image I have preserved these concepts through their retelling. Fashion is a tool used to communicate themes of preservation across different temporalities, highlighting the significance of the concept to every creative process and story that is told.
