Tells the story of the transitions between winter and spring. The seasons and the sequence of preservation through its cycle inspired my narrative, from dormancy in winter followed by the emergence, growth and blossoming in spring. The Vernal Equinox represents the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and when day and night become equal. It symbolises a balance and renewal of life in all its forms. “No Winter Lasts Forever; No Spring Skips Its Turn” a quote from nature writer Hal Borland represents the darkness of winter ending and the colours of spring returning.
