This element of preservation looks at how our conscious observations are preserved into our subconscious state, through dreams and the act of dreams distorting our conscious surveillance. Inspired by my research into Calvin Halls continuity hypothesis dream theory, which built off Sigmund Freud’s ‘The Interpretation of Dreams’, dream content is often a reflection of waking life experiences, concerns and preoccupation. Our conscious mind world builds for our unconscious state. We follow the distorted journey our subject takes through her mind which engulfs her physical state in her dream.
